The School Counselor: Best Practices and Current Knowledge

A Workshop and Retreat

Over many decades, the Stanley King Summer Institutes have taught teachers, advisors and school deans how to work more effectively with students. The Workshop for School Counselors, developed in collaboration with Princeton Day School counselor Rob Tuckman, will directly address challenges and opportunities faced by school counselors.
Large and small group discussions will focus on key clinical and administrative issues that comprise the work of school counselors. The workshop will provide information on best practices, as well as support collegial sharing and offer an opportunity for personal renewal and reengagement with our work.
